Karin Abraham joined Caravan Health as the Director of Information Systems and Services in September 2014. As Senior Vice President of Information Technology, she leads the management and delivery of Caravan Health’s technology solutions to its clients. This includes managing clinical data integration to the Caravan data warehouse, deployment, training, and support of the Caravan Health supported technology. In this role, she is responsible for delivering clinical data analysis and optimizing the data warehouse to effectively manage patient populations. Karin provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of all information and technology systems to clients for the company. She is honored to be a part of this organization to help facilitate providers in improving the quality of care, while reducing unnecessary costs with the use of data.

Karin has more than 14 years of experience in data analytics with a recent emphasis in health care IT.  Prior to joining Caravan Health, she was an Interface and Data Analyst at Tahoe Forest Hospital for six years where she excelled in data mining and interface development for more than nine Health Information Systems. At Tahoe Forest Hospital, she focused on data migration, business intelligence, HL7 interfaces, report writing and other high-level integration development projects.

Karin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Nevada, Reno.
