Caravan Health is the nation’s leader in accountable care and a destination workplace for anyone who has a passion for health care and wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and providers.

The organization was founded by Lynn Barr in 2014 and she positioned the organization to be leaders in value-based care. She brought in noteworthy leaders and experts, including our CEO, Tim Gronniger, who continue to guide the company and improve the access to and quality of health care.

Inclusive Workplace

Caravan Health employees are located in 32 states and represent a diverse demographic. We recognize that inclusion is about creating an organization that provides a sense of belonging and connection. We walk the walk and support our employees through positive partnerships with our Employee Resource Groups, and by creating a fun and engaging environment where all employees’ voices are heard, ideas, innovation are encouraged. How do we know this? Our employees tell us. Caravan Employee engagement scores consistently exceed industry benchmarks.

Make a Difference

At Caravan Health, we are improving health care, day-by-day, step-by-step. We have all experienced breakdowns in our health care system, miscommunication, provider errors, and don’t get us started on the smoke-and-mirrors cost of health care. Together, we’re working to change all of that. Every day, we come to work with a purpose, and we make a difference. It’s takes time to move mountains yet we’re doing it.

Live the Connection

Employees have the option to take advantage of ‘Flex Fridays’. By working longer hours during the week they can choose to take Fridays off or work half days, so we have time to live our lives.

Our Why

Our mission is to support safety net and community hospitals through robust, primary care. Because underserved populations deserve the same quality of health care as everyone else and have access to equal opportunities. Because care teams deserve more support to replenish their own well-being. Because we all deserve better. Better health care, better access, better quality of living.

Our Culture

At Caravan Health, we are motivated by one big thing: to improve our nation’s health care delivery system. Moving mountains in health care is no easy feat. But together, we cultivate an inclusive and supportive workplace, where we make a difference every day while inspiring one another and having fun in the work we do.

Our culture is built on a strong foundation of collaboration, growth, and wellness. We have employees in nearly every time zone yet make it easy to collaborate and be included in projects and initiatives for our clients. Growth opportunities abound including employee-centered educational and resource groups, internal internship, and mentor programs all to inspire and enlighten employees to new ideas and career paths. We take health and well-being seriously. When the standard employee benefit programs didn’t meet our standards, we started Journey Well.
